    USMC sticker ADD

anyone else take stickers off their rig faster than they put them on? I am always putting stickers on my jerry cans just to take them back off and slap them under the hood because i stop liking them. the only ones i have that are permanent are my 3/5, scuba, and NRA stickers. the rest go on the jerry cans for about a week before i hate them. am i just freaking out? now i have a POW/MIA on one can and just took off a moto bumper sticker off the other.

No, I leave mine on until they get trashed, weather worn, blown off at the car wash, etc. I am running out of room on the Jeep however

i see more and more people putting stickers under the hood (which only makes sense is the hood is open) so that's where the old ones are going so its not a TOTAL waste. it seems like i've wasted maybe 10 or 15 bucks on stickers that just dont last though

I have a bunch on the CJ, just waiting for them to fall off, or when I repaint

I've kept the XJ fairly clean, with only an MJ banner, 2 unit patches (one on each end of the banner) my NRA sticker, local club decal, and a list of trails I've done in Moab with the XJ

If I decide I don't like the sticker, I'll pull it. But as of late, they have been going on my toolboxes, garage fridge, etc.

I never was a fan of stickers until lately. In order to combat all the ridiculous pro-socialism stickers in the NE, I have started a sticker/message war with the LJ on the front lines!

    See this thread.

Well thanks, I suppose. Unless that led to the then removal and trashing of said stickers and funds to purchase. I never really did the moto stickers myself and I wouldn't really consider those moto. More along the lines of true American, stand up for your rights type stickers.

mine said "when it absolutley positively has to be destroyed overnight". that's the 3rd sticker i had on the can and removed. the "POW/MIA those who have never fought for freedom can never truley taste it" one is still on. i used to have EGAs on them on before that a pedros tacos sticker! i managed to jeep it intact and put it under the hood though so not a complete loss.
