Reno 4x4 - Reno

Sierra Stompers - Sierra Stompers was created in Feb of 1999. Our club has grown and proven to be a club that lasts. We are a family oriented four wheel drive club with members ranging from novice to decades of experience. Our vehicles vary from mild to the wild! Due to club majority, we have no club officers or dues. We feel that politics get in the way of four wheeling. We don't mandate members attend a certain amount of runs or meetings on an annual basis either. We have monthly club meetings on the first Thursday of every month in Douglas Counties Gardnerville, Nevada. We have at least one club run a month and sometimes several. During the winter months we stay lower in elevation due to heavy snow in the Sierra Mountains. Starting about May every year we head towards difficult trails like Barrett Lake, Rubicon, Fordyce and others. We invite new members and so long as new folks have the same 4x4 values, participate in the club, are responsible and will represent the club well. We work with BLM on land use issues and participate in trash clean ups many times a year. We have also taken 1st place in the Carson Valley Day's parade 3 times in 7 years.
