About Military
Jeepers:
Military Jeepers is an online community which was started in
December of 2007 as a way to help connect Jeep owners that share a
common bond, they are all serving or have served in the U.S.
Military. Through the use of the community discussion board and
chat room, members are able to share information about local
clubs, events, sites they find useful and generally exchange
information about jeeps.
Membership is free, and It does not matter if you already belong
to a local Jeep Club or what model of Jeep Vehicle you own. We
started Military Jeepers so we could help each other and provide a
support system for our members which extends around the world. We
currently have members stationed or living all over the world and
are working to build partnerships with local jeep clubs around the
world to offer more resources to our members.
Who is eligible to join:
We only ask that you satisfy the following requirements prior to
registering for a free membership with Military Jeepers.
1 - You must own any model of Jeep Vehicle.
2 - You must be serving in the U.S. Military or have served in the
U.S. Military.
(Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard)
Why you should join:
We did not design this site and do not intend Military Jeepers to
replace any current Jeep message board or Jeep club that you may
be part of. Military Jeepers is meant to augment those and act as
a valuable resource for Jeepers with similar interests to share
information and knowledge. If you would like to be part of a
global network of Jeepers that is willing to help each other out
as our members get assigned and stationed all over the world, then
please
register for a free membership. Your knowledge of local clubs,
shops, events and more may prove to be valuable to another member
which may be relocating to your area. All members are encouraged
to spread the word about local clubs, events, etc and we have even
had members get together for trail rides and meet and greets even
though they belonged to several different local Jeep clubs.
How is Military Jeepers free?
We do not charge for memberships to Military Jeepers. We make
money to continue the operation of the site through the sale of
various Military Jeepers merchandise such as the
4
inch round Jeep sticker. If you would like to support Military
Jeepers, you can do so by purchasing a set of our stickers, or by
linking to us from your website, blog or forum. |
